The Summit County Planning Commission is an 11 member commission which has the responsibility to review proposed subdivision of land within the unincorporated lands of Summit County through the process outlined in the Summit County Subdivision Regulations. The Summit County Planning Commission also serves to advise and make recommendations to the townships of Summit County in regards to proposed amendments of zoning texts or maps.
