PHA Plan Public Comment starts. This citizen is concerned with the lack of Section 8 housing in Indianapolis. Renter's insurance and pest control fees are also a concern for many renters like her.
Proposal 24-P-06 gives IHA CEO signatory power on forms and reports
Proposal 24-P-07 requests for approval of the CEO to be added with the CFO as signature authority for bank accounts, CDs, and other accounts.

Executive Director Report touches on added security measures by way of security cameras at 2 locations, crime watche and resident councils at various public housing locations, and server upgrades to avoid another cyber attack. The 1st video is longer than 2:20 but that's my limit
Department Reports focused on statistical updates including IHA responses to resident maintenance requests. The Housing Choice Voucher had no updates.
Tenant Representative Report skipped as the representative was not in attendance.
Public Comments focused on concerns with staffing & maintenance at 16 Park, IN Health Dept Outreach, rent payment options, poor hot water, security concerns, and IHA staff turnover
Chairperson Wize reminded us that the PHA Plan is available for review on the IHA website and a public meeting will be held soon to address public comments.
