The Commission consists of 15 LGBTQ+ individuals who all have unique experiences, diverse backgrounds, and varied expertise that will help shape the recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. The Commissioners expertise includes but is not limited to access to stable housing, health and mental health services, immigration issues, the LGBTQ+ political landscape, the needs of LGBTQ+ youth and older adults, and the ways in which discrimination impacts our community. The Commissioners work will ensure that Los Angeles County is responsive to the ever-evolving needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
