Suzie Graham Moore said Item 3 enters Akron into the Summit County Intergovernmental Memorandum of Understanding for Job Creation and Tax Revenue Sharing agreement which was made 15 years ago

She said the agreement prevents local governments from using funding or programs to attract existing businesses from other jurisdictions in the county

Fusco said this is a "comprehensive regional" approach to economic development and he wants City Council to send a signal that they are in favor of this
